Method 1 to Change Mercury Thermometer from ℃ to ℉

Quick Overview This product supports digital LCD display, with pen type. Takes temperature o. Clean the thermometer by wiping it with a clean, dry cloth, and disinfect the probe with isopropyl alcohol. Do not drop the thermometer or expose it to heavy shock. The thermometer is not shockproof. If you have an old-style thermometer made with mercury have 2 temperature scales on either side of the tube with mercury in it. One side is shown with Celsius, and the other side is shown with Fahrenheit so you can read whatever scale you want.

However, if your mercury thermometer only one temperature scale, you can convent a reading in Celsius to Fahrenheit by the formula below:

●Fahrenheit=32+Celsiusx1.8

●Celsius=(Fahrenheit-32)÷1.8

Method 2 to Change Digital Thermometer from ℃ to ℉

If you have a digital thermometer with one power button, and your digital thermometer is capable of producing readings for multiple units of measure, like the Vicks thermometer or Omron digital thermometer. Please follow the directions below:

Step 1: Make sure the thermometer is off.

Step 2: Press and hold the power button, and after about 5-7 seconds, the display screen will come back in turn: '℃/SET, ℉/SET'.

Step 3: Release the power button as soon as the desired temperature unit appears on the display screen. After adjusting once, the next boot still maintains your current setting, that is, as long as it is adjusted to degrees Celsius once, it will always be degrees Celsius, unless you re-adjust it.

Method 3 to Change Digital Thermometer from ℃ to ℉

If you have an electronic thermometer or frontal thermometer with more functions, you will usually have a 'MODE' key or '℃/℉' key above the thermometer.

Give it a short press, and the display toggles between F and C (The display also shows the label ℃ or ℉ so you can tell what it's displaying). Do it again, and it will switches back.

Method 4 to Change Infrared Thermometer from ℃ to ℉

If you have a BeurerIR thermometer or other infrared thermometer, you can perform the steps below to change the unit from Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Step 1: The default temperature unit of the infrared thermometer is Celsius ℃. The display screen also includes battery power, laser positioning information, and so on.

Step 2: On the side of the infrared thermometer, you can see that there is a groove here.

Step 3: Push hard to the right with your hand or screwdriver to open it.

Step 4: When you open it, you will see that there is a temperature selection switch on top of the battery compartment: ℃ or Fahrenheit.

Step 5: Turn the switch to the position of 'F' to set the temperature display unit to Fahrenheit.

Step 6: Then, after closing the battery cover, you can see that the temperature has been switched to Fahrenheit on the display screen.

These are the top 4 common ways to convert a thermometer from Celsius to Fahrenheit. If you are using an electronic thermometer, make sure it supports the conversion of temperature units before using it. If the multi-unit display is not supported, the above methods may not work.

Our clinical thermometers provide Fahrenheit temperature readings in an easy-to-read LCD. Each comes with a memory capable of storing the last temperature taken and displaying readings for as long as the power button is depressed. They also include an audible alarm that signals once at start-up and then for a maximum of 10 beeps when peak temperature is attained. Allegiance Thermometer Battery Replacement

A hand-held, battery-powered, electronic instrument designed to measure a patient's body temperature. It may comprise an electronic unit with an attached probe or be a single unit (shaped like an ordinary hand-held capillary thermometer) that detects and converts the changes in temperature into variations of some electrical characteristic, e.g., resistance or voltage. These variations of the electrical characteristics are processed in the electronic circuits and in turn displayed, for a short period, as temperature readings. Thereafter the display will automatically turn off or go into standby mode. This is a reusable device.
